Stay Hydrated with H2O

Drinking water in the cold winter months is very difficult. In the summer your body lets you know when you need to drink water. You are sweating more and therefore you think about drinking water more often. You still sweat in the winter even though you may not notice it and drinking water takes more effort. Especially while exercising your body needs water. If you aren't drinking water after exercise your body starts to feel dehydrated. Not good if your trying to lose weight or get healthy. If you didn't feel like water was a key component to exercise you are wrong my friend. Our bodies are about 70% water! We need it.

The daily amount of water you shoudl drink is half of your body weight in ounces. For example if you weigh 150 lbs you should drink 75ounces of water daily. 75 ounces is the same as 2 liters. The same size as a large bottle of soda. If you are confused about any of this. Use a conversion calculator found just by using google to convert to cups, quarts or liters. Which ever is more comfortable for you.

I would suggest getting your own water bottle and using your own filtered water vs buying plastic water bottles everyday. Not only are the costly but studies have shown that there isn't much difference between filtered tap water and bottled water from the store other than the price. See for yourself here http://hubpages.com/hub/Drinking-Filtered-Water-Vs-Drinking-Bottled-Water and http://www.waterfiltercomparisons.com/bottled_water_vs_filtered_water.php

Here are some examples of different water bottles. You are sure to find one that fits your needs.
I could go on and on about the benefits of drinking water but for now, Get to drinking!

Dance your way into FITness

Dancing is often the easiest way to ease into exercise. Whether you like to dance alone in the privacy of your home or breakdown on the dancefloor of a club, start moving.

For those who prefer more structured dancing, check out your local area for all types of classes. A popular one all over the world is Zumba! A international dance fitness class.

Zumba is a personal favorite of mine because I took one class and was hooked! I gave up the treadmill at that time and gave Zumba my attention. So much so that I am now a Zumba instructor (look for my classes  coming up soon in Atlanta, GA)

So no excuses! Turn on your favorite tunes and start moving!
